Sector know-how
Wired for custom homes & builders
On a custom build, the electrical starts long before anyone pulls cable. Service sizing has to account for what today’s large homes actually run: EV chargers, heat pumps, saunas, pool equipment, and kitchens with serious appliance loads. The rough-in has to land exactly where the drawings and the designer say it will. Then comes the sequencing: framing, insulation, drywall, and inspections all stack up behind the electrical, so a late rough-in slows the whole site.
We work as part of your build team, not a sub you have to chase. Send us the drawings and we’ll quote the job free, flag service-sizing issues before they become change orders, and commit to dates your site supervisor can plan around. We book ESA inspections to match your construction schedule, keep the rough-in photographed and documented, and show up for the finals when the painters are done. Licensed under ECRA/ESA #7019085, insured for $5 million, and every home carries our 1-year workmanship warranty.

How we work
What you can count on
Planning from the drawings
Send drawings before the foundation is poured and we’ll run the load calculations, size the service for EV charging, heat pumps, and pool equipment, and flag anything that will fight the mechanical plan. Catching an undersized service on paper costs nothing; catching it after drywall costs weeks. The quote is free and itemized so it drops cleanly into your budget.
Schedules that hold
A build sequence only works if every trade hits its dates, and electrical sits on the critical path twice: rough-in before insulation, finals before occupancy. We commit to dates in writing, coordinate directly with your site supervisor and the other trades, and book ESA inspections so the inspector is there when the stage is ready, not a week later.
Lighting design, executed
Designers plan lighting in layers; the build either honours that or flattens it. We work from the reflected ceiling plan, place boxes and housings exactly where the design calls for them, and wire the switching and dimming so scenes work as drawn. When a joist or duct forces a change, we raise it with the designer before we drill, not after.

Good to know
Common questions
Can you quote from our drawings, or do you need to see the site first?
Drawings are the right starting point. We quote from them, run the load calculation, and flag conflicts with the mechanical and structural plans while changes are still cheap. We’ll still walk the site before rough-in, because framing never matches paper perfectly, but the budget number you get from the drawings is real, not a placeholder. For renovations, a site visit comes first since existing conditions drive the scope.
Do you take on repeat work with builders, or one house at a time?
Both, but we’re built for repeat work. Builders who bring us back get one point of contact and consistent standards across their sites, so your finishing expectations get learned once and applied everywhere. We keep documentation consistent from house to house (panel schedules, ESA records, warranty paperwork), which makes your closing packages easier to assemble. Start with one project; if the scheduling and the workmanship hold up, build us into the next one.
